EveryGate gets you all the data you need to build and deploy the most demanding Telematics and Telemetry applications. It comes as an All-In-One mobile App able to collect information from multiple sources at the same time; From the smartphone’s built-in sensors, the vehicle CAN-bus sensors, the bluetooth smart sensors, the iBeacons and the mobile user itself. All those data are securely and efficiently delivered to your own cloud application using the latest industry standards such as MQTT.
EveryGate is a patented technology that deploys the high processing and storage capabilities of the modern mobile devices and turns them into high-end telematics/telemetry units. It thus, eliminates the need for complex installations and expensive black boxes, like GPS in-vehicle computers or IoT gateways.
Location Data
EveryGate exploits all the available positioning technologies existing in a modern mobile device to efficiently track it; GPS, Wi-Fi and GSM networks. Via the EveryGate portal you can remotely set your tracking preferences. You can choose any combination of time-based, distance-based and angle-based tracking.
Vehicle Data
EveryGate uses a patented technology, named BlueCAN to automatically acquire and forward to the cloud dozens of vehicle parameters, including fuel consumption, mileage counter, doors status, tachograph files, axle load and fault indicators. Depending on the vehicle, up to 160 vehicle parameters can be acquired in real-time. EveryGate supports every type of vehicle; passenger cars, vans, trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, forklift trucks and many others.
Wireless Sensors
EveryGate scans for iBeacons and other Bluetooth Smart sensors and forwards proximity, temperature, humidity, pressure and other information to the cloud. Thus, it enables many new features not supported by the classic M2M solutions; wireless driver identification, automatic per-package tracking and conditions monitoring are just some of the innovative features that are now supported.
Self-Protection
EveryGate allows for the selective access to specific smartphone applications. Once activated via the EveryGate portal, the app locks the mobile device screen and presents only the allowed applications to be executed. This is so as to protect the mobile device itself from malicious applications and to reassure the workforce manager that the mobile device is not used on distracting and bandwidth-wasting applications. It also facilitates the protection of the EveryGate application itself as it may deny user access to the Settings and Play Store applications in an Android device.
